Saw Bush give a speech in Florida on TV last night. Has anyone else noticed that this person is crazy? Like he acts and speaks and fidgets like a crazy person? are we all just completely mad and no one even notices here in the States anymore when the president has lost his mind? Wow. It was as disturbing and saddening as it was funny. You're watching it and thinking, “no this can’t be. There is no way this is the president of the United States of America. 

O.k. enough of that. Jammed with a new drummer tonight. Huge sense of freedom in the realization lately that if you really want to do IT. whatever THAT is for you, that the other people who are involved, the OTHERS, the people who come in and out, are not as important as YOU just making it happen. In the end, you're either going to do it, or you're not. And other people ARE going to come in and out of it. And one minute they are going to be your co-workers and closest friends and dinner companions and all that and then in the next they might not be. and that's just the way it is. and if you are a go getter and an ass kicker and a make it happen type, you just can’t get attached to the people. you just have to stay attached to the goals. you just have to keep going. like a company. Employees come and go. managers come and go. shit, owners come and go. change hands all the time. but business just keeps going. day in and day out. I think that for the majority of my life I got too caught up in the personalities involved and not enough just focused on the goal. Right now, I miss playing with Infinito, but I trust what is happening. And I miss playing with the poet too. But I'm not going to let it stop me from making any progress. Watched Monday night football. Thank God for football. America the great. 

Last screening: U2, the elevation tour. Bono is the closest thing we have to Jesus on earth in this moment. Thank God for him.
