Don't answer the question. Answer the question that you wanted to be asked. This was something I learned from mcnamara. Tricky. This is what politicians do. This is why most interviews and speeches and debates with politicians are so uninteresting and irrelevant. this is why they are known as snakes and generally criminally minded. It takes a special kind of mind to be that underhanded on a regular basis and still sleep.

Also, another angle, perhaps more preferable to the enlightened, answer the question but do it in a way that is least offensive. I call this the bottle cap method. When we open a soda pop bottle and there is a contest and we lose, the cap doesn’t say you lost. It says drink coke, try again. what they are saying is you lose. But they never say it. fascinating. There is something to be gained from that.

Everyone is calling for Karl rove, the mysterious dark lord ass sucking robot behind the dark side of the force, to step down or be fired due to the CIA leak. When I noticed the news headline passing by a television on s street somewhere the first thought I had was ‘good get the guy the hell out of there.’ but what I noticed immediately afterwards is that I didn't even know the facts. I mean, I hated the guy, granted, he's, well, lets say I hate his ideaolgoies, his methods, his vision for America; so maybe as a person he's an alright guy, who knows, but in his role in government I would rather see him ousted, but I had no right to automatically start assuming that he was guilty before proven so. good lesson. I have a feeling we all do that too often with one another.
