Just read that article about worldcom CEO Ebbers getting 25 years for his involvement in the biggest bankruptcy in American history that robbed 11 billion of dollars from thousands of American investors. He's 63 and has a bad heart so he will prob die in prison poor bastard. But that's his fault. He knew what he was doing. Check this out though:

“While criminal defendants usually are locked up during their appeals, exceptions are often made for white-collar criminal defendants, said Lewis.”


So next time someone asks you why you're so hard on America in its current “interpretation” of democracy, you’ve got some ammunition. bastards and criminals. A guy steals a car to sell it and make some much needed cash and he gets locked up. Another guy steals 11 billion dollars and he gets to go home and hang with the fam. There's a reason why the rest of the world has a problem with American democracy and their current free enterprise system as exemplified here.
